Zachary Friske is an experienced Advance Placement® (AP) high school instructor, focusing on AP® STEM instruction in the Dallas – Fort Worth Area of Texas. Mr. Friske's skills in teaching, research, and academic advising have been shaped through his work with students and their families, helping a new generation of scholars navigate their undergraduate coursework.

Mr. Friske holds a Texas Educator Certificate in Science Grades 7 – 12, Mathematics Grades 7 – 12, and English Language Arts and Reading Grades 7 -12. As a College Board® - trained AP® STEM teacher, Mr. Friske works as an Associate Advanced Placement Teacher, providing instructor coverage and guest lectures services for Advanced Placement® courses in AP Science, AP Mathematics, AP English, and AP History at two public high schools within the Southlake Carroll Independent School District.
His commitment to education also extended to his previous instructor position at Houston ISD, where he served as the teacher or record for Magnet Physics, AP Physics 1, and AP Physics 2 at the Michael E. DeBakey High School for Health Professions (DHSHP). Mr. Friske developed an award-winning curriculum that consistently resulted in student AP® exam scores surpassing state and national averages.
Mr. Friske loves to dig into college admissions problems and solve them leveraging a cutting-edge methodology sharpened through his experience within UCLA College Counseling and his work within a top 50 nationally ranked high school counseling office. Mr. Friske works with students and families to optimize both the college admissions process and academic survival skills in order to best position students for success within their future academic careers.
